Limits of this measure
JOLTS covers nonfarm establishments. These are monthly flows, not unique people or net new jobs. Hires and layoffs cannot be subtracted to reproduce the payroll change: quits and other separations also matter, and the surveys differ. Preliminary estimates can be revised.
Daily source checks do not create new daily observations. Figures may be revised, and timing does not establish administration causation. This record is informational and should not guide financial or medical decisions.
