Independent reporting
US Data Watch is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the U.S. government or a political administration. Source agency names are used for attribution. Administration comparisons describe timing and do not prove policy causation.
Advertising and support
Advertising is identified in the bottom banner. Sponsorship does not grant editorial control over statistics or calculations. Financial support is voluntary. US Data Watch does not claim charitable status; support is not represented as a tax-deductible charitable donation. Support payments are handled through PayPal under its terms.
Sources, links and corrections
Third-party websites have their own terms. Source material is attributed to its publisher. US Data Watch branding and design remain distinct from government data. Reports of errors are reviewed before corrections are made. CSV downloads contain source observations and may be revised later.
Before public launch
The legal operator, jurisdiction, contact information, payment terms, email sender information and data-retention policy must be completed. These terms are a working MVP draft and should receive jurisdiction-specific legal review before public release.
